Compact, silent, and low-maintenance: On-board power supplies of the PCS Rail AU 500 series are particularly well-suited for deployment in trams, rapid urban transit trains, and underground trains. They are characterised by compact design, low-level maintenance, and low noise emission. These systems are suitable for roof-top or underfloor applications in a number of DC 750 V performance classes. All power converters include an emergency start-up function for starting even at low battery levels. More than 1,250 static converters and battery chargers for trams are operating across Europe.
